The De Vries Lentsch 14.80 pilothouse is now in an online auction. Everyone can bid until December 15, 2025. The De Vries Lentsch 14.80 Pilothouse – Steel motor yacht with pilothouse and twin engines General overview The De Vries Lentsch 14.80 Pilothouse is a steel motor yacht measuring 14.80 meters in length and 4.45 meters in width. Built in 1991 at the renowned Bloemsma & van Bremen shipyard, designed by De Vries Lentsch. The hull features a hard chine design, enhancing stability and handling. The superstructure is made of aluminum. With a draft of 1.50 meters and an air draft of 5.30 meters, the vessel is suitable for both inland and coastal waters. Interior and living space Inside, the yacht offers a headroom of 2.00 meters, creating a spacious feel. The accommodation includes four fixed berths and two additional berths, spread across multiple cabins. There are two bathrooms on board, each equipped with a shower and electric toilet. The living area features a dining area, air conditioning, and hot air heating, ensuring comfortable stays on board in various seasons. The galley is equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, and freezer. Hot water is available through an integrated system. The presence of mattresses in the sleeping quarters adds to the comfort during longer stays on board. Propulsion and technology The yacht is powered by two 135 hp Ford Lehman Super diesel engines, both from 1991. The engines are electrically started and have six cylinders. The maximum speed is approximately 25 kilometers per hour. The fuel tank has a capacity of 2,900 liters, making the vessel suitable for longer journeys without frequent refueling stops. Steering is done via a wheel inside the pilothouse. The ship features a dual rudder system and is equipped with a hydraulic bow thruster, facilitating maneuvering in ports and narrow waters. Electrical installation and power supply The onboard electrical system consists of a 220V and 24V system. There are four batteries with a total capacity of 600 Ah. Power is further supported by a 15 kWh Onan generator. Battery charging is facilitated by a charger and alternator, as well as an inverter and shore power connection. Navigation and safety The vessel is equipped with a wide range of navigation equipment, including AIS, autopilot, depth sounder, fishfinder, GPS, chartplotter, compass, log/speedometer, VHF radio, radar, and wind gauge. This equipment makes the ship suitable for both short trips and longer journeys on open water. Safety on board is enhanced by a self-draining cockpit and an electric bilge pump. The toilet discharge is connected to a 500-liter holding tank, preventing direct discharge into open water, promoting environmentally friendly sailing. Exterior and deck equipment The deck is finished with teak and features a guardrail for added grip and safety. On deck, there is an electric anchor windlass with chain, a cockpit table, pulpit and pushpit seats, fenders and lines, davits, exterior deck cushions, a swim platform, and swim ladder. This equipment makes deck stays pleasant and functional. Water and fuel capacity The water tank has a capacity of 1,300 liters, sufficient for multiple days on board. The 2,900-liter fuel tank provides a generous range. The combination of these capacities makes the vessel suitable for longer trips or extended stays on board without frequent refueling. Documentation and maintenance Extensive documentation is provided with the vessel, including five folders with technical data, manuals, and maintenance reports. VAT has been paid, and a declaration is available. In 2024, the ship underwent maintenance, including antifouling renewal, during its last haul-out. Usage and cruising area The vessel has been used on various waters, including inland waterways, canals, lakes, rivers, and seas. The equipment and layout make it suitable for day trips, leisure cruising, holidays, and weekend stays. The combination of living comfort, technical equipment, and sailing capabilities allows the yacht to be used for a variety of purposes. Summary The De Vries Lentsch 14.80 Pilothouse is a steel motor yacht with a robust construction and extensive equipment. With twin engines, spacious living accommodation, and a wide range of navigation and comfort features, the vessel is suitable for both recreational use and extended stays on board. The documentation and recent maintenance provide insight into the technical condition and history of the ship. The main photo is for illustrative purposes only.
