Description

The designs of the Norwegian designer Colin Archer (1832 to 1921), originally specialized in lifeboats, whaling ships, and pilot vessels, are characterized by extreme robustness, stability, and superior seaworthiness. The cutter-rigged gaffers with long keels were particularly suitable for the inhospitable conditions on the Norwegian west coast and conquered Northern Europe from there. Later, the area of application also expanded to include seaworthy bluewater cruisers as private sailing yachts, which were built by various shipyards until the 1990s. One of the most handy sizes is the Colin Archer 30. The yacht offered here is a replica of a Colin Archer design from 1903, built in Stavanger in 1983. Hull and deck made of fiberglass. Bright and friendly interior in white painted panels with teak accents. Easy handling thanks to self-tacking jib with jib boom and VOLVO PENTA 36 hp inboard diesel engine. The Colin Archer 30 is located on the Kiel Fjord, can be visited by appointment at any time, and is available for immediate delivery.
