Description

A Knarr is probably one of the most classic sailboats ever built and still sailing in large numbers around the world. The Knarr was designed in 1943 by the Norwegian Erling Kristoffersen. In Denmark, there is an active Knarr club that organizes several regattas every year. This Knarr O D3 Tilde is a very special Knarr! It is likely the oldest Knarr in Denmark and has sail number D3. Since the boat is from 1956, it is naturally made of wood and built by the well-known boat builder Børresen in Vejle. Tilde is in good condition with a sound hull and a deck that was renovated a few years ago. Some varnish work is currently being done, so when the boat is launched in Rudkøbing, it will be ready to sail wherever the new owner desires. The sails are usable but probably should be replaced soon, which has been taken into account in the price. Something special included is a spinnaker that provides good speed in the boat. The spinnaker is mounted with a roll and an endless inhaul and outhaul line. Cushions were replaced a few years ago and are like new. In the cabin, there is a small closet and a pantry as well as good sleeping and storage space. There is also a boom tent and a cockpit tent that covers from the mast to the tiller. Additionally, an electric motor, battery, mooring lines, and fenders are included.
