WANTED – classic family cruiser, max 40 ft ⛵ We're looking for a sailboat for the family and gladly welcome both tips and direct contact. Requirements: • 3 cabins + saloon – sleeping for two families (2 adults + 2 kids each) with separate quarters, approx. 8 berths • Length max 40 ft • Draft max 2 m • Masthead rig or 9/10 fractional rig that manages without running backstays in normal sailing conditions • Classic Scandinavian style with a warm interior in mahogany or teak • Extra plus: teak deck, lead keel and a mainsheet traveller on the coachroof (clear cockpit) • Price approx. 45000-120000 depending on condition and equipment – a project is perfectly fine if priced right Models we've looked at (though the right boat hasn't turned up yet): Sweden Yachts 38/390, Arcona 38, Maestro 38, Finngulf 391, Contrast 400, Cenit 40 and others. The favourite so far is the Sweden Yachts 390 – but we're open to similar classic cruisers. We're based in Finland but ready to travel within the Nordics for the right boat, and can act quickly.
