A Finnsailor 38 is an incredibly well-built motor sailboat that offers the crew good sailing characteristics, great comfort, and above all, a safe sailing experience. This Finnsailor is in an exceptionally good condition. The bottom was sanded down not many years ago and looks really good. The hull is as shiny as if it were new. Below deck, all the woodwork is in great condition. The boat has been updated in many areas: - All electrical installations have been replaced and very nicely documented with diagrams. - The same goes for the heating and water installations. - The engine was renovated by the previous owner. - The current owner had the diesel high-pressure pump renovated in 2023 and installed a 77 Amp generator. This Finnsailor is one of the later models where the renowned yacht designer Pelle Petterson has designed the hardtop. This gives a much more modern look than the previous version. The mainsheet has been moved up to the top of the hardtop. This provides a tidier cockpit. Also, the previous steering console is gone and replaced by a comfortable chair for the captain, thus creating more space in the cockpit. The cockpit table can be extended when the steering chair is removed, as there is another table underneath it. There is room for the steering chair in the cargo hold under the cockpit. There is also space for two bicycles if preferred. Below deck there are 3 ½ cabins. In the main cabin, there is a sofa arrangement with a central table. There is a galley with a new stove with an oven and 2 burners. There is also a nice refrigerator and a kitchen counter with a double sink as well as cold and hot water, of course. Moving aft, you first pass a small cabin with a bunk, from where there is also access to the engine, before reaching the double aft cabin. There is a large double bunk and plenty of closet space. There is also a sink with cold and hot water. Forward in the ship, there is a toilet and bathroom area and a closet for storing clothes. Farthest forward is a cabin with two bunks. If an additional berth is needed, for example for a child, this is also possible.
