This incredibly smooth sailing, strong and spacious Nauticat 40 was built by the Finnish shipyard Siltala Yachts in 1984. The hull was designed by Sparkman & Stephens, and the ship sails incredibly well both by sails and motor. The engine is a well-maintained
6-cylinder Ford Lehman, 135 hp., which easily gives a cruising speed of 7-8 knots. Since the ship has two steering stations, you can choose to steer from either inside the wheelhouse or from the cockpit. Thus, you can always sail under safe and comfortable conditions, even in cold and rainy weather. In addition, the cockpit is framed by a strong sprayhood in glass and aluminium that provides perfect protection. With its hydraulic furling mainsail in the mast and the manual furling genoa, it is both easy, fast and safe to set and take down the sails.
This well-furnished model has 3 cabins with a total of 7 berths, two bathrooms, a large wheelhouse with lounge, as well as a well-furnished pantry with table and sofa that can be converted into 2 additional berths. The ship is equipped with both oil and electric heating installations, which make it comfortable to live on - even in cold regions.
Since 2022, the boat has been upgraded with new Raymarine equipment, radar, Navtex, Iridium satellite system, new electrical installation in the engine room, lithium battery pack, solar cells, safety equipment and MUCH more!
We are selling our lovely VEGA because, after 2 years of sailing to the Mediterranean, we have now returned home to Denmark and need to start new projects in our lives.

Denne utroligt velsejlende, stærke og rummelige Nauticat 40 er bygget af det finske værft Siltala Yachts i 1984. Skroget er designet af Sparkman & Stephens, og sejler formidabelt for både sejl og motor. Motoren er en 6 cylindere Ford Lehman, 135 hk. der let giver en marchfart på 7-8 knob. Da skibet har to styrestationer, kan man både vælge at styre inde fra styrehuset eller ude fra cockpittet. Således kan man altid sejle under trygge og komfortable forhold selv i koldt og regnfuldt vejr. Desuden er cockpittet indrammet af et stærkt sprayhood i glas og aluminium, der giver perfekt beskyttelse. Med sit hydrauliske rulle-storsejl i masten og den manuelle rullegenua, er det både let, hurtigt og sikkert at sætte og nedtage skibets sejl.
Denne velindrettede model har 3 kahytter med i alt 7 sovepladser, to badeværelser, et stort styrehus med lounge, samt et velindrettet pantry med bord og sofa, der kan laves om til yderligere 2 sovepladser. Skibet er udstyret med både olie og elektrisk varmeinstallation som gør det komfortabelt at bo på - selv i kolde egne.
Siden 2022 er båden blevet opgraderet med nyt Raymarine udstyr, radar, Navtex, Iridium satelitsystem, ny elinstallation i maskinrummet, lithium batteripakke, solceller, sikkerhedsudstyr AB rib med 10 hk Yamaha motor og MEGET andet!
