Description

Grand Banks launched the 41 Heritage EU in 2008 after the project was announced in 2007. While the ship still looks like a true Grand Banks Heritage on the outside, the new 41 Heritage EU has been an innovation when it comes to propulsion. The Grand Banks 41 Heritage EU was the first model to be powered by pods. This resulted in several advantages such as better efficiency, easier operation and more speed. Equipped with twice 425 hp Cummins engines, the ship sails almost 25 knots. The joystick-powered Zeus pods make manoeuvering very easy and with the push of a button on the Skyhook system, the ship stays in its position. With the crane on the flybridge, it's easy to let the tender in and out of the water. As usual, the Mareas has a Galley-up layout, a spacious salon with an L-sofa and a three-person sofa that can be converted into a sleeping place. As a result, the Mareas offers five sleeping places. Since the engines 41 Heritage EU are located in the rear, a large storage space has been created under the salon to accommodate, for example, a washing machine, dryer or freezer. Mareas, a new innovative way of sailing in the style of a Grand Banks.
