Bubblegum, a unique yacht with a unique story, designed by the renowned Doug Peterson and built by the legendary boat builder Jeremy Rogers. Noteworthy, Bubblegum has a remarkable history in Ocean Racing. In 1979, Bubblegum participated in the Parmelia Race, racing from Plymouth to Freemantle. Pushing the limits further, she boldly participated in the 1981 Whitbread Round The World Race, marking her as the smallest yacht ever to compete in this legendary race, which is nowadays know as (Volvo) Ocean Race. This will give her starting rights to participate in the Legends Class at some of the Ocean Race stop over events. This exceptional yacht combines modern classic elegance, performance, and seaworthiness. Since being acquired in 2007, Bubblegum has been meticulously maintained by its dedicated owner, with many recent upgrades done in 2018. Both technically and cosmetically, she remains in great condition. Bubblegum retains her authentic appearance while incorporating a modern touch. This yacht is now for sale and a fantastic choice for sailors who value a modern classic yacht with a unique character, charm, and suitability for serious offshore sailing.
