Description

Contrast 36 DEN 43 from 1986 with 7 sleeping places and extended stern. The price is set at 350,000 DKK. We have had the boat for 10 years and it is now time for it to move on. We are selling it only because we want to find a larger boat that better suits our 3 children and their partners. We have been incredibly happy with the boat and it is with sadness that we have to let it go, so we hope to find a new owner who will be just as happy with the boat as we have been. The boat has been upgraded in many areas, but of course it also has some age and patina. The boat has been continuously upgraded for sailing performance and comfort. It has achieved some good racing results, such as 6th place at the DH-DM in 2020 and several race wins in round-the-island and other distance races. At the same time, we have also used it as a family boat for many great weekend and summer trips around Denmark. We have, among other things, extended the stern with an integrated bathing platform. Installed a 400amp Li-ion battery with an inverter so there is always 230V on the boat and it only takes a maximum of 3 hours to recharge. A new and optimized rudder has been made for the boat with much less water resistance and excellent grip in the water, among many other things. The boat's equipment includes: - Sails: Mainsail and jib are Fiberpath sails from Ullmann Sails, purchased in 2021. The jib is a 110% max jib on a furler with tafta on both sides. There is no UV edge on the jib, but a foresail cover to pull over. The mainsail has full-length battens and is designed with an extra large cape on the leech. There is tafta on both sides of the sail. There is a reef in the mainsail. - 2 winches: One is older and came with the boat when we bought it, the other is from 2019 and has only been used for racing, and is still in very good condition. - Code 0: from 2020, on a furler with torsion rope in the luff. - Carbon fiber spinnaker pole. - Spinnaker pole bag on the boom. - In 2021, the standing rigging was replaced with new Dyform wire, as well as new Bluewave bronze turnbuckles. - Newer halyards, sheets, and trim lines made of Dyneema. - Blocks have been updated with Harken Element blocks and Harken Carbo Air. - The lifelines have been replaced with coated Dyneema line instead of wire. - New Lazybag in 2023. - Hanging boards at the chart table. - Dyneema backstay. - Backstay/runners that can be used for additional trimming of the forestay. - Larger steering wheel for easier and more comfortable steering on the edge. - The stern has been extended by approximately 2 feet, with an integrated bathing platform. - Integrated bathing ladder and shower with cold and hot water at the stern. - 5KW Planar oil heater from 2020 with OLED display. - New hot air hoses in 2023. - 30L hot water tank, new heating element in 2023. - Electric pressurized water system, cold/hot. - 160L water tank. - New fresh water hoses throughout the boat. - Electric saltwater toilet, new in 2023. - 60L holding tank. - Brand new compressor for the refrigerator in 2023, as well as new insulation around the refrigerator. - 400Amp Li-ion battery with 3.5kw charger/inverter, 230V output from Clayton. - 80 amp starting battery + C-tec charger. - 230V outlets throughout the boat. - Large cockpit tent from 2016 with standing height. - Sprayhood from 2016, new window from 2023, the sprayhood works but is slightly worn. - A new deep storage bench has been made on the port side. - New upholstery on the cushions since the pictures were taken in 2018. - Raymarine Axiom 9 RV chartplotter in 2023. - Raymarine AIS650 in 2021. - Raymarine Evolution EV1 autopilot and ACU 200 computer with linear actuator mounted on the steering quadrant in 2020. - Raymarine Windtransducer in 2022. - Raymarine Log in 2023. - Raymarine Depth Sounder in 2023. - Raymarine RMK-10 remote control in 2022. - Raymarine remote control for autopilot in 2020. - ST60+ Instruments. - ITC-5 control in 2022. - Seatalk to NG converter. - Sailor VHF radio. - Yanmar 3GM30F engine. - Martec alternator replaced in 2021. - New raw water pump on the engine in 2023. - New saildrive membrane in 2023. - Gori 2-blade folding propeller. - New optimized rudder, "no rudder pressure" ūüėä. - 6 self-tailing winches. - Easylock winch handles. - All through-hull fittings have been replaced in 2021 with recessed Trudesign fittings. - Trudesign valves. - Anchor and anchor gear. - Fenders. - Sunshade. - Spare parts box with various fittings. - Various extra blocks. - The bottom is 100% smooth and fine, painted with VC17. - Fire extinguisher. - Adjustable genoa track from 2018 Rutgerson. - 6 fenders. - Standard boom cover. - Cold foam mattress topper in the V-berth. - Manual and electric bilge pump. - JVC radio speakers in the saloon and cockpit. - ENO gas stove with oven. - LED navigation lights. - Cockpit table.
