Description Scylla 36 ketch. An extremely well designed and well sailing sailboat for sale as, after being the happy owners of this Scylla 36 ketch for 20 years, we have now reached the point in life where we have decided to go ashore. The Scylla 36 ketch was designed by the Dutch ship designer W. de Vries Lentsch, built at the Swallow Craft shipyard in South Korea and has a Lloyds Certificate. The Scylla 36 ketch is a really cozy and spacious boat built in fiberglass, with a central cockpit, 3 well-functioning cabins and a large longitudinal pantry on the port side, with a stove that has 3 burners and an oven, a sink, a refrigerator is built into the table top (compressor - 80Liters) with a small freezer above. There are also many cupboards and shelves. There are 2 berths in the forward cabin which has 2 drawers and 2 smaller cupboards. There are 2 berths in the aft cabin, which also offers a table with sink, a 2-person sofa and plenty of cupboard and drawer space. Amidships there is a large saloon with a U sofa with table and a 2-person sofa. At the back of the salon on the starboard side, there is a well-functioning navigation space with plenty of space for folders and books. The forward cabin and the salon are connected by a passageway, where on the starboard side there is a toilet with the possibility of a shower and on the port side there is a double wardrobe. The boat is: L: 10.8m W: 3.63m D: 1.75 weight 11 tonnes, of which keel ballast 4.2 tonnes. The boat has a general standing height down to lee of 1.92cm. Sails: Furling genoa: 27m2, Mainsail: 25m2, Mizzen: 10m2 and a windlass. It is very smooth sailing, comfortable and stable, even in rough weather. Suitable for long-distance sailing. It has a large engine compartment with easy access to the engine and engineering. The engine is a 42 hp fresh water-cooled Vetus M 4.17 from 2007, which has been in operation for 751 hours to date. The boat is equipped with fin keel and Vetus SD10 sail drive. The boat is equipped with hydraulic steering and has an NKE hydraulic gyropilot, which can be switched on and off at the push of a button. The gyropilot has many setting options and controls the boat really well in all kinds of weather. Down in the shelter, under the door, there is a 500 liter stainless steel water tank, a 375L diesel tank and a 300 liter holding tank. An additional smaller diesel tank of 65 liters has been retrofitted for "everyday use". On deck there is a large aft well with room for 2. 11 kg gas cylinders, as well as a large anchor well in the bow with space for anchor, anchor chain and fenders. From the center cockpit, on the starboard side, there is access to a large chest bench for sail ropes etc. The sail wardrobe, rig, cockpit tent, cushions in the forward cabin and aft cabin and a large part of the electronic equipment were replaced for approx. 10 years ago. The boat has generally been looked after and maintained.
