It also features an auto function for changing tacks while sailing. With data on speed through water, the plotter and wind instrument automatically calculate True Wind and leeway. Wind angles are displayed on the plotter so you know when to change tacks while beating. Connected instruments The M-TECH SX35 DCS VHF radio is connected to a Garmin GPS128 via NMEA0183. This ensures that the VHF radio has GPS coordinates, so if the Distress button is used to send a MayDay signal, it includes GPS position and data about the vessel.
