Description

Secure and convenient cruising yacht from Malö Yachts AB on the boatbuilding island of Orust in the Swedish West Archipelago. The solidity of the fiberglass work, an exceptionally lovingly crafted Scandinavian mahogany interior, and the quality of the technical installations from the traditional shipyard in Kungsviken make Malö sailing yachts highly popular cruisers, especially in the Baltic Sea region. Their stable strongback made of laminated frames and stringers, the additionally bolted hull-deck connection, and laminated bulkheads give the yachts a torsion-free, rigid structure. A massive lead keel, a skeg rudder, and a low-maintenance shaft drive make them reliable, seaworthy vessels. Innovative features include the fiberglass arch that banishes the mainsheet and traveler from the cockpit, accommodating the sprayhood and cockpit tent. All halyards, sheets, and reefing lines can be trimmed from the helm. The Malö 37 is the smallest model in the shipyard's latest series, offering a great deal of comfort for long journeys or extended stays on board, easily managed by a small crew. Here is a Malö 37 for sale in the version with a negative transom and bathing platform. Well-maintained owner's ship from 2011 with a furling mast, bow thruster, and teak deck throughout. Electric windlass with stainless steel anchor both at the bow and stern, and a Scandinavian teak and stainless steel bowsprit with a retractable bow ladder. Interior layout with two individual armchairs in the salon to starboard. Numerous recent investments such as mainsail and genoa, chart plotter and AIS transponder, batteries, sprayhood, and cockpit tent. The current owner has stored the yacht indoors every winter, professionally maintained and serviced it. The Malö 37 is located on the German Baltic coast and can be viewed by appointment.
