The sailing yacht named Rebell has been registered in the Bremen ship register since 1987. It measures 15.92 m in length overall, 4.10 m in width, and has a draft of 2.20 m. The weight is approximately 23 tons. Originally started based on Hydra plans, the Reinke was extended by about 1m and widened by about 1m over the twenty years of construction. The Reinke was meticulously built with great care and craftsmanship by a shipyard worker with great dedication. Technical Data: Length overall: 15.92 m Width: 4.10 m Draft: 2.20 m Mast length: 17.00 m Height above waterline: approx. 20 m Weight: approx. 23 tons Diesel tank: approx. 750 liters Freshwater tank: approx. 600 liters Blackwater tank: approx. 60 liters Greywater tank: approx. 60 liters Fuel tank for power generator: approx. 100 liters Heating oil tank for heater: approx. 100 liters Sails: Cutter rig Main: approx. 45 m² Genoa: approx. 70 m² Jib: approx. 23 m² Spinnaker: approx. 120 m² Storm jib: approx. 7 m² Deck Equipment: The cockpit features eight high-quality two-speed winches, including an electrically operated winch for the mainsail halyard with a 24-volt motor. Additionally, two more winches are located at the mast to facilitate sail handling. Electric anchor windlass with 50 m chain, chain diameter 13 mm Two bow anchors, the ROCNA 33kg plow anchor is new (June 2025) A stern anchor stainless steel on 50 m anchor line Onboard, there is a life raft (inspection date expired) and a dinghy for four people, equipped with a 9.9 HP Evinrude outboard motor. Navigation Technology: Radar, AIS, fixed VHF radio Ray90 with mobile handset, new since September 2023, and a handheld VHF radio, Raymarine chart plotter, autopilot, and other Autohelm brand displays. The steering is hydraulic (hydraulic cylinder serviced in 2025). Interior: In the bow area, the bathroom features a shower, while an outdoor shower with cold water is installed in the stern. The salon is comfortably designed: a large table can be folded longitudinally for passage to the bow cabin. The seat backs on both sides can also be folded up, creating two comfortable sleeping berths. Additionally, the salon offers a library and various storage spaces for personal items and equipment. The headroom is approximately 2.20 m, providing a spacious feel. Galley: The kitchen is functional and comfortable, equipped with a double sink, refrigerator, three-burner gas stove with gas oven (gimballed), and a microwave with grill function. Gas supply comes from the accessible lazarette, where three 5.5 kg gas bottles are stored. These are safely controlled by an electric gas switch. In the passage to the owner's cabin, there is a freezer with a capacity of approximately 180 liters, whose compressor can be operated electrically or via the propulsion engine. Water supply is controlled by a pressure-regulated pump. The pump was renewed in 2022. Hot water (stainless steel tank approx. 60 liters) is generated through the internal engine cooling circuit but could also be electrically heated, with switches and cables available but currently not connected. Electrics: Numerous 220 V sockets are installed throughout the boat. When connected to shore power, conventional household appliances can be operated almost anywhere. Furthermore, an inverter is installed, allowing selected sockets to be powered at 230 V even without shore power. Additionally, electrical energy can be generated via a gasoline generator. The 12-volt onboard network is powered by two lithium-ion batteries installed in 2022. The two batteries for the 24-volt supply of the bow thruster and anchor windlass were renewed in June 2025. A charger for connecting solar panels is already installed, enabling the charging of onboard batteries. Two additional new chargers are available as backup or for system expansion. Engine: The ship has an engine room with an integrated workshop, providing excellent access to the engine. It is equipped with a Perkins 4.192 diesel engine – a robust and reliable 4-cylinder engine with a displacement of approximately 3.15 liters and a power output of around 50 kW. The engine has run for about 1,377 operating hours. Fuel consumption is low, around 2.0 l/h at a speed of 600–700 rpm. Miscellaneous: A comprehensive range of spare parts and tools is onboard, including sewage bilge pumps, hoses, cables, screws, nuts, rivets, lines, sheets, fuses, paints, lubricants, and various fabrics. The boat is also equipped with two cockpit covers: an older one for winter storage and a newer one for summer operation. In the accessible lazarette, an air compressor is installed. From there, compressed air lines lead to the workbench in the engine room, providing practical work options onboard. Maintenance: In April 2022, the entire underwater hull was professionally renewed by a shipyard. During this process, the hull was waxed and polished, all seacocks were replaced, and the three front windows in the cockpit were resealed. Also in 2022, both toi
