The Nimbus 305 is somewhat of a rarity here in Denmark, but it is nonetheless a completely unique and fully equipped day cruiser that can do it all. The hull performs perfectly and handles exceptionally well even in rough seas. The sharp bow ensures that water is efficiently pushed out to the sides. A Nimbus 305 is not a boat for fast sailing, but rather for stable, smooth, and effortless cruising over longer distances. The boat is powered by a Volvo Penta D3 with 220 horsepower, easily reaching speeds of 20 knots. At 16-17 knots, it is very economical and remarkably quiet — an absolute pleasure to operate. And when you arrive at an unfamiliar harbor, you have bow and stern thrusters to maneuver into place with ease. There’s plenty of room on board. The cockpit layout is thoughtfully designed, offering ample seating and/or sunbathing space. At the very back, there is a large swim platform equipped with a swim ladder, fender holders, and both hot and cold showers. The rear seating area can be transformed into a spacious sunbathing area at the push of a button, as the large table lowers hydraulically to the level of the sofas. The midship seating area can also easily convert into either a sunbed or regular sleeping space. The passenger seat on the starboard side can be turned around so you’re facing forward while underway. On the starboard side of the expansive teak-decked cockpit, there’s a well-appointed galley that has everything you need. The helm station is well laid out, providing a clear view of the entire boat. The entire cockpit is covered by an elegant and thoughtfully designed canopy that can be activated at the touch of a button — simple and stylish. This allows you to enjoy an open boat on beautiful summer days while also providing the security and utility of a closed boat — very practical for all weather conditions. Below deck, the boat is equally well-appointed. There’s a large double bed beneath the cockpit, a spacious bathroom on the starboard side with a shower stall and electric toilet, plenty of storage space, and natural light streaming in. Further forward, you’ll find a lovely large cabin with an enormous double bed. Everything is, of course, in the well-known Nimbus quality. This boat is like new and fully equipped as detailed in the equipment list. It’s currently in the water in Hornbæk and can be viewed by appointment.
