Boat Overview Island Odyssey is a 2017 Fountain Pajot Helia 44 featuring the optional Oceanic Package from the factory. The boat has primarily been used for bareboat charters managed by local BVI companies. It is equipped with upgraded 60hp engines instead of the standard 40hp. Power is supplied by solar panels and an Onan generator for off-dock use. The boat is kept cool with a 48K BTU air conditioning system. A comprehensive Raymarine electronics package includes an autopilot, rounding out the factory-installed equipment. Recent updates include a new mainsail in 2026, a new UV cover on the genoa in 2026, new cushions for both the salon and exterior in 2026, and new trampolines in 2023. The boat has been well maintained and professionally serviced, representing great value for private use. Reluctantly, I am looking to sell my 2017 Fountaine Pajot Helia 44 Evolution, named Island Odyssey. We have the joy of having a newborn daughter, but she unfortunately puts my sailing dreams on hold for at least a few years. She is a four-cabin boat with one converted forepeak and has been owned by me since new. She has been well maintained in a BVI charter fleet and recently underwent a full survey, with all maintenance items and repairs addressed. She is currently being managed and chartered through the end of the season, and this arrangement can continue for next season if desired.
