With its swing keel, the draft can be varied from 1.40 m to 2.50 m. This allows it to remain flexible in the Wadden Sea, shallow bays, and smaller harbors – and it can easily dry out if needed. At the same time, the Glacer is built for long voyages. Stainless steel deck and superstructure, approximately 30 tons of displacement, and a 90 HP Ford Lehman convey a solid, substantial construction. With around 950 liters of diesel and approximately 950 liters of fresh water, along with 608 Ah LiFePO batteries renewed in 2025, it provides excellent conditions for longer, independent trips. On board, it is designed for extended journeys: three cabins, six berths, heating, hot water, bow thruster as well as radar, AIS, autopilot, and chart plotter are part of the equipment. A yacht for owners who do not want to be tied down – sailing in the Wadden Sea today, on a grand voyage tomorrow. The Glacer 47 is currently available for viewing on land.
