Description

Mercury F 150 XL Fin 150 hp that has had a major service including impeller. Sail hours: 93 HOURS. Exceeding the limits of reliability The task for our engineers was to design and manufacture the most reliable 150 hp 4-stroke outboard motor in the industry. To achieve this, they started with a strong 3.0-liter block capable of generating over 250 hp, but intentionally limited it to deliver only 150 hp. This significantly increased the long-term durability of the engine block. They then added a robust gearbox with the largest cylinder volume in its class, along with nearly 10,000 hours of product development and testing. Finally, they topped it off with the industry-leading factory warranty of up to 5 years. Additionally, the motor's compact design means it fits a wide range of boat types. And despite all this, it only weighs 206 kg! Perfect for replacing an old motor The compact, lightweight design allows Mercury's 150 hp 4-stroke outboard motor to be mounted on boats with limited space at the transom. Every kilogram saved is an advantage during transportation when the boat is on a trailer. The 150 hp 4-stroke is flexible enough to support both mechanical and hydraulic steering, mechanical control/cable systems, and a wide range of other instruments. Avoid stress Less work, more performance. Sounds good, right? That's the key behind Mercury's 150 hp 4-stroke. With a 3.0-liter cylinder volume, 4 cylinders, and a single overhead camshaft, it works less than other engines to produce more torque and horsepower. This means exceptional durability and many years of worry-free boating. Lightweight engine block Larger cylinder volume typically means higher weight. However, that's not the case with the Mercury 150 4-stroke. It is the lightest engine in its class. That's why it is often the preferred alternative for both replacing an older motor and installing on a brand new boat. Less time on service The 150 hp 4-stroke outboard motor not only looks good with its engine cover on. Underneath, everything is designed for easy access to perform basic service and maintenance. Additionally, it offers "spill-proof" oil changes, easy access to the fuel filter, and maintenance-free valves. All of this makes the 150 hp 4-stroke one of the easiest outboard motors to maintain on the market. From March 2020, this motor comes from the factory with VesselView Mobile. This means you will always know the status of your motor, whether you are sitting at home on the couch or out on the water with friends and family. Furthermore, you will have full visibility of fuel economy, performance, and the option to directly share your data on social media. The price is valid for multiple model variants. See the PDF price list for the full model range.
