Description
The Verhoef aluminum Freefall Lifeboat has very few running hours and is in good condition. The boat and engine boat/motor was subjected to test/trial run once every six months and has been provided with annual service by an authorized company until 2014. History:In 1959, Verhoef designed and manufactured the first "free fall" lifeboat for a vessel that could be launched FAST and SAFELY. The design closely resembled a submarine and was put into service on a ship in 1962. It had a freefall height of about six meters. The development of the Freefall Lifeboat allowed the crew to safely and quickly abandon their ship or platform. Even when exposed to the most extreme conditions, such as fire or flooding, the Verhoef freefall lifeboat has proven to be a rescue device that can withstand the most stringent safety requirements.
