Broom 39 Continental from 1972 – Polyester motor yacht with dual controls General overview of the Broom 39 Continental The Broom 39 Continental is a British-made motor yacht, built in 1972 by the renowned shipyard Broom & Sons. This model features an S-shaped hull and is made of polyester, contributing to its structural strength and ease of maintenance. With a length of 11.89 meters and a beam of 3.83 meters, the vessel offers a spacious interior and stable water handling. The draft is 1.00 meters, making it suitable for various navigational areas, including inland waters, lakes, ponds, and rivers. The air draft of 2.70 meters allows passage under most bridges. Interior and accommodation Inside the yacht, there is a headroom of 1.90 meters, providing comfort and freedom of movement. The accommodation is designed for six permanent berths and one additional berth, spread across multiple cabins. The interior space includes a dining area, mattresses, a shower, electric toilet, hot water system, and hot air heating. The galley is equipped with a refrigerator, stove, oven, and microwave, making onboard stays suitable for longer trips or vacations. The water tank has a capacity of 500 liters, while the holding tank can hold 100 liters. The toilet discharge is directly connected to the open water.
