Remarks :Dutch Barge for sale in Kent  This Cira 1950 steel hull 50-foot Dutch Barge offers the perfect live-aboard or holiday cruiser. The current owner has lived on the vessel for the last 2 years and is unfortunately selling the vessel due to purchasing another vessel. This boat is clean and tidy in appearance, looks good and smells nice too, with no hint of dampness below. It has an open plan saloon with a double berth forward with a separate heads with a shower. Accommodation :This 50ft Dutch barge boasts a generous headroom of approximately 6 feet, ensuring a spacious feel throughout. The forward cabin offers a double berth to starboard, with under berth storage in the form of drawers and cupboard space. Moving after also in this area is a large full-height storage hanging wardrobe. The heads compartment is located on the port side behind the forward cabin, offering a chemical toilet and a wash basin mounted in a white vanity unit. The shower pump and shower fitting have been removed as the current owner didn’t use them, however, they could easily be reinstated with the shower pump still onboard the vessel. The open plan saloon offers a single sofa that can be converted into a single berth and a wood-burning stove, which heats the whole boat. The galley is located at the stern of the vessel on the portside, featuring a white enamel sink with a hot and cold mixer tap, under sink storage, a 240v single electric hob, a 240V fridge and the 240 & 12-volt control switches. Hot water is provided on the vessel by a Gasland BG300 boiler fitted in the galley.  Ascending the companion way from the saloon leads to the rear cockpit that features access to the engine, steering and engine controls and a 240V power inlet.
