Forbina 40. Also known as "The Floating Estate". And it's not an exaggeration. This boat offers oceans of space for a 40-foot motor yacht. Large salon with incredible natural light, a spacious pantry that a food-loving crew would appreciate. 3 separate cabins, a large bathroom, and notably a spacious aft deck and a wonderfully large flybridge. If one is looking for a quality boat with these amenities, then they are on the right track. It's challenging to find a boat with 5-6 real fixed berths in separate cabins, but it has been achieved here, allowing the whole family to enjoy some privacy during summer vacations. Access from the bow is easy via the wide side decks, leading down to the large aft deck. There is plenty of space here, with access via a sturdy molded staircase up to the lovely flybridge, and also out to the large aft bathing platform. Overall, there is an incredible amount of outdoor space and the opportunity to relax in shade or sunbathe or lounge on the bathing platform. The bathing platform is almost three meters wide and 80-90 centimeters deep. Under a hatch, there is a bathing ladder and the aft anchor winch is neatly tucked away, giving a clean impression. Towards the aft deck, there are steel holders for four large fenders. And of course, there is a gate leading to the aft deck, which is spacious with a fixed bench aft, which along with a table and a couple of loose chairs creates a nice seating area. When looking at the bathing platform and aft deck, it's evident that the manufacturer had ample space available. So, there is room for most things without compromising, resulting in everything looking well-organized and making everything seem a bit larger. And it's all covered with teak, providing an exclusive feel. Access to the salon is through a large glass door, and inside there is plenty of space around the table and to move around the boat. There is volume and really good space here. The entire salon gives a spacious impression, and behind the helm station, there is a section with drawers and cabinets. The galley is not located here but two steps down in a midsection a bit further forward in the boat and in connection with the "distribution corridor". There is plenty of storage space, an L-shaped countertop, a good working height, and room for everything one might need. Aft of the galley on the port side is the door to the large guest cabin. There is truly ample space here with plenty of storage, a large wardrobe, and a good height above the large double berth. Reading lamps, shelves, and good ventilation are also present. On the starboard side, there is another double berth tucked under the helm station above. There is slightly lower headroom on half of the berth under the salon. Therefore, it is best suited for one person, but two can easily sleep here. In front of the berth, there is a small bench and a small table. Opposite the galley, you will find the toilet. Everything is neat and tidy. In the corner, there is a shower with a grate on the floor. If bathing, a shower curtain needs to be used. The toilet room is functional with good space and full standing height. Forward is the owner's cabin with a reasonably large and comfortable double berth. The cabin is spacious, has good ventilation through the skylight, two portholes, and two ventilation valves. Under the berth is a large drawer, and beneath that lies the engine for the bow thruster. Two wardrobes and shelves provide a forward cabin with fine comfort. The technical installations are easily accessible through the large hatches on the aft deck, and the engine is protected by sound-insulating boxes, which help keep the noise level down. The boat sails very well even in rough seas, and the two well-serviced in 2024, powerful Volvo Penta D4 engines with 210 hp each, propel the boat onto plane quickly, reaching speeds of around 30 knots. The boat is equipped with duoprop ensuring a good grip in the water, and maneuvering is effortless with both bow and stern thrusters from Sleipner. This fantastic boat is located in Bornholm and can be viewed by appointment. Check out the pictures and schedule a viewing.
