Description

1962 Riva Tritone Aperto1 of  just 15 Tritone Aperto's builtExceptional condition This is a rare opportunity to own a 1962 Riva Tritone Aperto that has been lovingly cared for by the same family since 1984. The Riva Tritone Aperto played a crucial role in the evolution of Riva boats, serving as a precursor to the legendary Riva Aquarama. The Aperto version of the Tritone was an extremely rare variation, featuring a sunpad built into the aft deck, a design that later influenced the Aquarama’s iconic layout. These boats are highly sought after today, not just for their rarity but also for their historical significance in Riva’s legacy. If you have access to an original Tritone Aperto, it's a true collector’s gem—one of the rarest examples of classic Riva craftsmanship. The Riva Tritone Aperto isn’t just a boat—it’s a piece of history, a work of art on the water. With its sleek, unmistakable lines and beautifully curved hull, it turns heads wherever it goes. Built with incredible attention to detail, its rich mahogany gleams in the sunlight, a testament to the craftsmanship that went into every inch of it. Owner's comments: The Riva Tritonne ARNELLA II has been a cherished part of our family since 1984. This classic boat has been meticulously cared for and underwent a complete restoration in 2004-2005 by a renowned marine carpentry workshop on Lake Garda. During the restoration, the boat was fully opened up, with both the woodwork and mechanics receiving thorough attention. It was restored to its original condition, with a stunning finish that includes nine layers of varnish. All necessary wooden parts were replaced, and the interior received multiple layers of epoxy varnish. As a vintage Riva, ARNELLA II has been maintained to the highest standards. Every two years, a marine carpenter inspects and performs any necessary work to keep it in superb condition. Additionally, the mechanics are revisited every two years by a marine mechanical specialist. This boat is in perfect condition, having never sailed in saltwater. It is currently operational and can be seen on Lake Garda.
