Assemakruiser 900 now in the online auction. Everyone can bid until April 20, 2026. Assemakruiser 900 – Classic steel motor cruiser with character and comfort The Assemakruiser 900 is a steel motor cruiser from 1972 with a length of 9 meters and a width of 3 meters. This hard chine hull offers a stable and comfortable ride, ideal for trips on inland waters. With an air draft of 2.45 meters and a draft of only 90 cm, this vessel is excellent for exploring rivers, lakes, and canals, even in areas with low bridges or shallow shores. The boat is designed for recreational use and accommodates four people, with two permanent berths and two additional sleeping places. Comfortable layout and practical amenities Inside the Assemakruiser 900, the headroom is 1.90 meters, creating a pleasant sense of space. The layout is functional and focused on comfort during longer stays on board. The salon features a dining area that can be converted into extra sleeping space. The galley is equipped with a stove, refrigerator, and hot water supply, allowing for self-sufficient cruising. The manual toilet system discharges directly into the open water, and there is a separate shower. The water tank has a capacity of 400 liters, sufficient for multi-day trips. The cockpit is spacious and recently fitted with a new PVC floor (2024), enhancing usability and appearance. The cockpit tent was also renewed in 2024, providing shelter from sun and rain, making the outdoor area usable even in inclement weather. Engine and handling characteristics The Assemakruiser 900 is powered by a Peugeot XUD9 diesel engine with 50 hp. This inboard engine was installed in 2008 and has only 300 running hours. The motor starts electrically and consumes an average of 3 liters of diesel per hour, contributing to efficient cruising. The cruising speed is around 9 km/h, with a maximum speed of approximately 12 km/h. Maneuvering in harbors and narrow waterways is made easier by the electric bow thruster, enhancing sailing comfort. Steering is done from the inside helm station with a steering wheel, and the vessel has a single rudder. Navigation instruments such as a depth sounder, tachometer, oil pressure gauge, and temperature gauge are present, along with a voltmeter for the electrical system. The electrical system operates on 12V and includes shore power connection, battery charger, and alternator. New batteries with a total capacity of 260 Ah were installed in April 2025, divided into two batteries. Construction and maintenance The hull of the Assemakruiser is made of steel and has a hard chine shape, ensuring stability in the water. In 2023, the underwater hull was treated with antifouling and the hull was repainted. The superstructure and side decks still require attention, providing room for further personalization or improvement by the new owner. The boat is equipped with an anchor with line, fenders, lines, and a sturdy railing all around. Sailing experience and usage possibilities This Assemakruiser has been owned by the current owner for many years and has been used for various recreational purposes such as day trips, weekend stays, and holidays. The boat has taken trips through the Biesbosch and city tours to Amsterdam and Utrecht. With its dimensions, engine power, and equipment, this vessel is suitable for both novice and experienced water sports enthusiasts looking for a characterful motor cruiser with potential. The Assemakruiser 900 provides a solid foundation for those seeking a classic steel motor yacht with a practical layout, comfortable amenities, and room for personalization. Whether for relaxing day trips or multi-day cruises, this boat offers a versatile sailing experience on the Dutch inland waters.
