Jupiter boats are a part of Danish motorboat history, built at the Jupiter Yard in Bogø. The yard became known for solid and spacious fiberglass motorboats, and many of these vessels are still cruising today. The Jupiter 33 was designed in 1971 and went into production the following year. After the Jupiter Yard, Faaborg Yard continued to build on the Jupiter 33 hull, including for professional purposes. The Jupiter 33 was developed as a larger sister to the Jupiter 30, specifically targeting the German market and river cruising. With a length of approximately 10.50 meters, a beam of about 3.50 meters, and a draft of around 1.10 meters, this model offers an unusually spacious interior relative to its length, while the moderate draft makes it suitable for both Danish waters, fjords, and Europe’s rivers and canals. The classic layout provides excellent living and sleeping accommodations, making the Jupiter 33 popular as a true cruising boat. This particular example is well-maintained and very genuine, with the engine installation making an especially good impression. The original engine has been replaced at some point with a Volvo Penta KAMD300-A producing 285 horsepower, which today shows approximately 1,486 registered engine hours. The engine appears to be in excellent condition and well cared for. When the current owner took possession of the vessel in 2019, the hour meter read only about 80 hours. The seller believes that the engine replacement may have occurred around 2011, although the exact installation year is not documented. The current owner has had the boat since 2019 and has used it as a Jupiter 33 is intended – for long-distance and canal cruising. Most recently, the owner returned in August 2026 after a roughly four-month trip to Paris and back (363 engine hours with an average consumption of 3.75 liters per engine hour). This serves as a fine demonstration of the boat's qualities as a comfortable cruising vessel that is genuinely used for longer journeys. Onboard, there are good facilities for extended stays. Two refrigerators, hot and cold pressurized water, and a diesel heater provide great comfort both during summer vacations and outside peak season. The bow thruster is a significant aid during harbor maneuvers while autopilot and VHF make longer legs more pleasant. Navigation and chart plotting can be done via iPad or PC. The Jupiter 33 appeals to buyers looking for a classic Danish quality motorboat with plenty of space, a strong and attractive engine installation, and good capabilities for both Danish waters and longer trips through Europe’s canal and river systems. This model also comes with an ownership history dating back to 2019 and a recent long journey to Paris logged. Equipment includes: - Bow thruster - Diesel heater - Autopilot - VHF - Navigation/chart plotting via iPad or PC with AIS receiver via VHF - Two refrigerators - Hot and cold pressurized water
