Motorschouw 930 now available in online auction. Everyone can bid until October 19, 2026. Why is this steel motorboat interesting? The Motorschouw 930 offers remarkably spacious accommodations for its size. It features two fixed berths and two additional sleeping spaces, making weekend trips and short vacations easily achievable. The interior is practically laid out with a dining area, kitchen, refrigerator, stove, oven, mattresses, and hot water supply. There is also ample storage space throughout the cabin with various compartments, cabinets, and hatches, including a convenient hanging locker for clothing. Is the engine operational? No, the engine is currently not operational. The boat has a Peugeot 2.5 diesel engine from 1985; it’s a four-cylinder inboard diesel with an indicated power output of 50 horsepower. According to the owner, the engine turns over but there are issues with either a leaking head gasket or leaking heat exchanger. The exact cause needs to be determined by an expert and attention is required before it can be put back into service. The engine features electric start and comes equipped with a fuel tank of approximately 100 liters. Onboard are fuel gauge, oil pressure gauge, temperature gauge and tachometer. The previously indicated cruising speed is about 9 kilometers per hour and the maximum speed around 11 kilometers per hour. These speeds will need to be reassessed once the engine has been technically repaired. For a buyer with technical knowledge or access to an appropriate yard, this could serve as an interesting basis for further work. What recent work has been completed? The boat was repainted in 2025 at De Haan shipyard with double coating. Additionally, its underwater hull received new antifouling that same year. Thus, the Motorschouw 930 has recently received attention regarding its exterior protection. The owner states that the hull is made of thick steel and shows no weak spots. Furthermore, the hoses and connections for the stove have been recently replaced. According to the owner, the gas stove operates properly. A diesel heating system has also been installed recently which makes onboard stays more comfortable during cooler days. How is the interior of the boat arranged?
