Description

NIMBUS 35 DC IN TOP CONDITION - ONLY 1000 ENGINE HOURS, RENOVATED AT 600 ENGINE HOURS. Here you get a Nimbus 35 DC, which is rarely seen in such a beautiful and well-maintained condition on the second-hand boat market. The Swedish Nimbus boats are known for their high quality and excellent sailing characteristics, and this Nimbus 35 DC from 1989 is no exception. The boat features a large bathing platform aft with a shower. Upon entering the cockpit, there is a large U-shaped sofa with a table in the middle, covered by a canopy from 2023 ordered from Eliasson in Sweden, who made canopies for Nimbus. At the front of the cockpit, there is a skipper's seat with room for two sailors to follow the course. The instrumentation is of a newer and updated vintage where all dials and instruments were replaced in 2024. Descending to the port side, you enter a larger salon with an L-shaped sofa and a nice elongated table on the port side. On the starboard side, there is a pantry with a double sink, 2 alcohol burners, a microwave from 2024, and 2 refrigerators from 2020, one of which can be converted into a freezer while providing cabinet space. In the forward cabin, there is ample space for 2 sleepers. However, the current owner has used the aft cabin as their bedroom. All mattresses on the boat have been replaced with thicker ones for greater comfort. Additionally, there is a toilet with a shower and an electric toilet from 2024, which goes directly to the boat's 40L holding tank. The holding tank has a macerator pump for emptying at sea. Switch for shore discharge that can be locked. This Nimbus is equipped with 2 x Volvo Penta AQAD 41A, Diesel, with 200 HP each, consuming approximately 60L/hour at 24 knots. The maximum speed for the boat is 30 knots. Both drives are DP290 with duo-prop and flawless propellers from 2020. It also includes spare propellers. Furthermore, trim/tilt cylinders on both drives were replaced in 2021 with newer and better types, bow thruster with remote control and its own battery charged from the engines. Turbos were upgraded with new ones in 2024 for better acceleration and less smoke, as well as a bit more horsepower. Stainless steel inserts have been installed on the exhaust side of the turbos. The engines have been maintained and cared for according to all regulations and were completely overhauled 700 engine hours ago. Exhausts from 2019 with plastic on top to avoid corrosion at the transition between turbo and exhaust. Exhaust temperature gauges are mounted on both engines with a display in the cockpit. Power steering and pump were replaced in 2021. Some noteworthy features of the boat include: - Crankcase ventilation with oil separator installed in 2020. - SuperFlush freshwater flushing system on both engines accessed from the aft platform. - Engines are flushed EVERY time they have been run, so there is no trace of dirt/lime in them. The same flushing system makes it super easy to winterize the engines and descale the seawater side, which is done regularly. - Heat exchangers and oil coolers were disassembled and cleaned in 2023, with new internals for the intercoolers. - Hot water from engines (and from electric cartridge). - "Analog" oil pressure gauge installed in the engine room in case the electrical system fails. - Shore power with isolation transformer (4000 watts) installed in 2024. - Ground plate installed in 2024, so along with the isolation transformer, the boat is 100% galvanically isolated. - HPFI relay connected to the ground plate. - 3000 watt inverter with remote display that can be connected to shore power. - Cristec LifePo4 charger with 4 outputs (2 x consumption, 2 x start) and display for control. - LifePo consumption batteries from 2024 at 2 x 200 Ah (can float for two days without problems) with battery meters in the wheelhouse. - 2 start batteries from 2020. - DC to DC charger from start batteries to consumption, while sailing. from 2024. All 12V. contacts were replaced in 2024. - Orca navigation running on iPad (iPad not included). - Sonar with side view. - Autopilot connected to Orca via NMEA (the boat sails itself along the route). - Alarm system for SIM card, remote-controlled and on the phone. - Heating system from 2024 - diesel, air, 4kW. in all rooms. Remote-controlled for SIM card. Can be controlled from a mobile device. - There are 220V sockets in all rooms and in the engine room. Everything is secured with HPFI. - 5G router for SIM card with an external antenna. - 250L freshwater tank with a filtering system and ozone purification, making the water drinkable. - Freshwater tank cleaned in 2024. - 2 x 350L diesel tanks, where the heating system draws from the SB tank. There is no moisture/diesel pest in the diesel tanks. - Electric anchor winch with chain. - All cushions - inside and outside - professionally reupholstered in 2023. - All woodwork lacquered in 2023. - Hot/cold water in all taps and on the bathing platform. - 40L water heater from 2019. - The forward cabin has "springs" under the mattress to avoid moisture. - Two electric bilge pumps in the sump. - Drain bolt aft, so all water can be drained out via the sump for winter storage. - During winter, the boat has had a dehumidifier running 24/7, so it is odor and moisture-free. - 220V electric heating pipes in the cabin, and one is also available for the engine room to keep the boat frost-free in winter. - All sea valves are composite (TruDesign) and are from 2015. The boat can be taken over launched and ready to sail. Contact Yachtbasen to arrange a viewing.
