Skilsø boats are produced by Viknes in Norway. Viknes, a notable Norwegian shipyard founded in 1988, is distinguished for crafting versatile boats capable of performing in both tranquil and challenging waters. The company's journey started with the Viknes 770 Combi, swiftly capturing a strong market share. After a destructive fire in 2000, the determined team resumed production quickly, introducing the Viknes 880 and 1030. Expansion continued in 2011 with the introduction of the Skilsø brand, adding the Skilsø 33 Sport and Skilsø 36 to their lineup. Leading in boat-building innovation, Viknes and Skilsø offer customizable yachts and workboats from 7-12 meters, produced on Askøy Island, with over 60 skilled professionals workers.
