Description

This motor yacht from the renowned brand De Vries Lentsch is a 14.80-meter long pilothouse, built in 1991 at the Bloemsma & van Bremen shipyard. The design originates from De Vries Lentsch himself, a name known for its classic lines and functional layout. The hull is made of steel, while the superstructure is crafted from aluminum. This combination contributes to the robustness and handling of the vessel. Dimensions and Construction With a length of 14.80 meters, a beam of 4.45 meters, and a draft of 1.50 meters, this ship offers a stable position in the water. The air draft is 5.30 meters, allowing passage under lower bridges. The hull features a hard chine design, enhancing directional stability and comfort while sailing. The interior headroom is 2.00 meters, creating a spacious feel inside. Interior and Accommodation The interior is designed for comfort and extended stays onboard. It offers four fixed berths and two additional sleeping places. The accommodation includes air conditioning, hot air heating, an electric toilet system (not directly discharging into open water), two bathrooms with showers, a dining area, and a fully equipped galley. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, freezer, oven, microwave, and a stove. The presence of hot water enhances onboard comfort. The water tank has a capacity of 1,300 liters, while the holding tank holds 500 liters. These capacities make the ship suitable for longer stays without frequent stops. Propulsion and Technology The yacht is powered by two Ford Lehman Super diesel engines, each with 135 hp, both from 1991. The engines are electrically started and have six cylinders. The fuel tank has a capacity of 2,900 liters, enabling a considerable range. The maximum speed is approximately 25 km/h. Steering is done via a wheel from the inside helm station. The vessel features a twin rudder system and a hydraulic bow thruster for improved maneuverability. Electrical System and Generator The electrical system comprises four batteries with a total capacity of 600 Ah. Additionally, the ship is equipped with a battery charger, alternator, inverter, shore power connection, and voltmeter. The onboard voltage is 24V and 220V. An Onan generator with a capacity of 15 kWh provides extra power supply. Navigation and Safety The vessel is fully equipped with navigation tools such as AIS, autopilot, depth sounder, fishfinder, GPS, chart plotter, compass, log/speedometer, VHF radio, radar, and wind gauge. An electric bilge pump is present, and the ship has a self-draining cockpit. Deck Equipment The exterior space features a teak deck, swim platform, swim ladder, cockpit table, pulpit and pushpit seats, fenders and lines, and a guardrail. An electric anchor windlass with chain and anchor is onboard. Davits are installed for potentially hoisting a dinghy (not included). Exterior cushions enhance comfort on deck. Documentation and Registration The vessel is registered with the Dutch Cadastre, and VAT has been demonstrably paid. Comprehensive documentation is available, organized in five folders. A VAT declaration will be provided upon sale. Usage and Navigation Area The yacht has been used on various waters, including inland waterways, canals, lakes, rivers, and seas. The owner has utilized the vessel for day trips, leisure cruising, holidays, and weekend stays. The equipment and layout make the ship suitable for permanent residency as well. Maintenance and Recent Work The vessel was last out of the water for maintenance in 2024. In the same year, the antifouling was reapplied. The technical installations, engines, and equipment are operational. The De Vries Lentsch 14.80 Pilothouse is a motor yacht with a classic look and extensive equipment. With its steel hull, aluminum superstructure, dual propulsion, spacious accommodation, and modern navigation gear, this vessel is suitable for both recreational use and extended stays onboard. The available documentation and recent maintenance work provide insight into the history and technical condition of the ship.
