The Fairline Targa 43 is a sporty motor yacht of British origin, built in 1999 by the renowned Fairline shipyard. With a length of 13.74 meters and a beam of 3.80 meters, this vessel offers a spacious and comfortable experience on the water. The hull is made of polyester and features a V-bottom, contributing to stability and handling at higher speeds. The air draft is 3.45 meters, making the boat suitable for various sailing areas, including inland waters, rivers, lakes, and coastal waters. The boat is registered with the RDW and has an ICP registration with number 8-YG-806. All relevant documentation is available, including a VAT declaration. The boat is equipped with an electric bow thruster, a tender garage, and an electrically extendable gangway, facilitating docking and boarding. Interior and accommodation Inside, the Fairline Targa 43 offers a comfortable living space with a thoughtful layout. There are four fixed berths and two additional berths available, divided between a master cabin and a guest cabin. The salon features a dining area and a fully equipped galley with refrigerator, freezer, stove, microwave, and hot water supply. Mattresses are provided, and the air conditioning ensures a pleasant indoor climate, even on hot summer days. The wet room is equipped with an electric toilet and a separate shower. The black water tank has a capacity of 150 liters, and the toilet discharge does not go directly into open water. The water tank has a capacity of 400 liters, sufficient for multi-day stays on board. Propulsion and technical specifications The Fairline Targa 43 is powered by two Volvo Penta TAMD 74 EDC diesel engines, each with a power of 480 hp. Both engines are from the year 1999 and have approximately 360 running hours. The engines are electrically started and were fully serviced in 2024. The gearbox was serviced in September 2024, the propeller shaft bearings were renewed in 2023, and the alternators were overhauled in April 2024. The bow thruster was also overhauled in April 2024. The fuel tank has a capacity of 1,200 liters, providing a generous range. The cruising speed is around 47 km/h, and the maximum speed is approximately 65 km/h. The boat is equipped with various gauges, including a fuel gauge, oil pressure gauge, temperature gauge, and tachometer. Electricity and power supply Onboard, there are four batteries, with the starter batteries renewed in 2023 and 2025. The electrical system includes a battery charger, alternator, inverter, voltmeter, and shore power connection. The onboard voltage is 12V and 220V. For additional power supply, a 5 kW Perkins generator is installed, contributing to autonomy during longer journeys. Navigation and safety The navigation equipment includes a depth sounder, GPS, chartplotter, compass, and log/speedometer. For safety, there is an electric bilge pump, lifebuoy, and liferaft. The VHF radio is currently not functional. Exterior equipment and deck gear The outdoor space features a teak deck, swim platform, swim ladder, cockpit table, and comfortable outdoor deck chairs. The cockpit can be enclosed with a cockpit tent from 2021, and there is also an original convertible top. For sun and rain protection, a bimini is installed. The boat is equipped with an electric anchor windlass with chain and anchor.
