Tukkervlet 960AK – Steel motorboat with dual steering and spacious accommodation The Tukkervlet 960AK is a steel motorboat of Dutch origin, built in 1983 by Botenbouw Tukker. This boat is registered with the Dutch Cadastre under number 24153 B R 1999 and was transferred to the current owner on September 27, 2011. With a length of 9.60 meters, a width of 3.25 meters, and a draft of 0.90 meters, this vessel is suitable for various inland waters. The air draft is approximately 2.50 meters, allowing it to pass under many bridges. Construction and hull The hull of the Tukkervlet is made of steel and has a hard chine design, contributing to its stability and sailing characteristics. The boat weighs around 10,000 kilograms. In 2014, the underwater hull was sandblasted, an important maintenance measure for steel vessels. The last antifouling treatment took place in 2022 when the boat was last taken out of the water for maintenance. Engine and technology The Tukkervlet is equipped with a JMR RE4 four-cylinder diesel engine with a displacement of 2600 cc and a power output of 60 hp. The engine is from the year 1982 and is electrically started. The cruising speed is around 15 kilometers per hour. The fuel tank has a capacity of 400 liters, providing a generous range. The steering is dual: the boat can be operated from both inside and outside using a steering wheel. An electric bow thruster facilitates maneuvering in harbors and during mooring. Electrical installation and navigation The onboard electrical system includes 220V and 24V systems. There are four batteries that are charged via a battery charger, alternator, inverter, and solar panel. A shore power connection is available. Navigation equipment includes a compass, log/speedometer, and a VHF radio. Additionally, the boat is equipped with navigation lights, a radio, and a television. Interior and accommodation Inside, the Tukkervlet offers a headroom of 1.90 meters, providing a comfortable living space. There are two fixed berths and four additional berths available, spread across the salon and the fore and aft cabins. The accommodation features a dining area, mattresses, refrigerator, freezer, and a stove. The cushions have been reupholstered. The water tank has a capacity of 200 liters. The toilet is manually operated and discharges directly into the open water. Deck equipment and safety On deck, the Tukkervlet is equipped with a bimini, davits, fenders and lines, a guardrail, a swim platform, and a swim ladder. An anchor with chain and line is present, although there is no anchor winch installed. In terms of safety, there are two fire extinguishers, a lifebuoy, life jackets, and two gas lockers at the rear. Usage and particulars The Tukkervlet has mainly been used on inland waters for leisure cruising, day trips, and holidays. The current owner cites comfort, stability, space, and maneuverability as the ship's distinctive features. The boat comes with a full inventory, including documentation from the Cadastre. There is no trailer or dinghy included.
