Description

Type: Motor sailer Year of construction: 1964 Dimensions/Material: 8.23 m x 2.78 m (draft 1.10 m) / Steel Engine / HP: MD 2003 Volvo Penta 20.6 kW (= 28 HP) Sail area: 29.25 sqm Flag: Germany Headroom below deck: approx. 1.85m Weight: approx. 6 t A true all-rounder! Whether on the North Sea, Baltic Sea, or river cruising, I have always been very satisfied with this boat! As a sailor, the boat stands out for its docility, as the sail area is optimally matched to the boat. Despite only 1.10 meters of draft, it has excellent sailing characteristics. The mast lowering system is especially practical for inland sailors and areas with bridges. Those who wish to use the boat as a pure motorboat (it only needs 2 liters per hour) can replace the sail mast with an existing mast for lights. Built for the North Sea, the boat can be beached. Due to its design, it has unusually spacious interior and storage compartments. The continuous lifeline is not only very helpful in rough waters but also ideal when children are on board. The bow pulpit has a gate, ensuring safe boarding and unloading of the boat. The construction drawings and the boat's history are largely documented and available. The boat was designed and built by the renowned D. Bohlmann. Our predecessor had a sound survey conducted upon purchase, showing no hull wear in the underwater area. I had the underwater hull completely overhauled by a boat builder. The boat builder also rebuilt the cockpit. Furthermore, an electrician renewed most of the electrical system. USB ports have been added in the cockpit, salon, and berth. I have regularly maintained the engine, and it works flawlessly. I would like to pass on the boat because my life situation has changed, and I now need a boat with more berths. The boat is located in Wismar. There is no maintenance backlog with this boat; what I would renew for myself in the future are the salon cushions, but that is a matter of taste. This should be sufficient for a first impression.
