Description

Hollandia, built 1934, Hardanger Fjord,Norway as sailing/Fishing vessel with motor in the Colin Archer style. After her fishing life she was bought by Mr Ken Coombs of Antigua Classic Yachting. I bought her in 1999. Hollandia has been fully rebuilt over 9 years. Full photo archive of the rebuild is available and original survey of her re-launch in 2009. Hollandia is built of Furu/Larch frames with Larch planking to typically heavy scantlings. The deck is 2 layers of 12mm marine ply glued and screwed with Resourcinol. The deck was then sheathed using SP systems and finished with Hempathane epoxy paint(2023). Keel is 2000Kg lead with new deadwoods/Keelson and keel bolts. There is approximately 1.5 tons of internal lead ballast. All hatches are Lewmar Ocean(7), with bronze portlights in the coach house sides. Hollandia is fully ceiled inside with cedar planking to below the cabin sole. Engine:Mercedes Marine OM617 300D. Installed in 1992,fully overhauled(2022) and Borg Warner gearbox 2:1(rebuilt 2022). 2 x AGM 190Ah batteries(2019), split charger, inverter 1000w, Victron charger(2022) Mast and spars are solid Douglas Fir- varnished(2023). Sails (4)are from 2013 with a new mizzen sail 2023, working sails in good condition. Galley: Taylors parrafin twin burner/ oven. Seperate 5lt pressurised tank. Lots of storage space in galley. Refleks diesel heater in salon. Her interior is warm and cosy and fully fitted out for live aboard/cruising.There are 3 single berths and 1 double berth up forward. Nav area opposite galley.
