Description

Grand Soleil 43 is a well-sailing beauty and exceptionally well-equipped. The boat offers everything one could wish for in terms of sailing experiences and comfort. The model is designed by Botin & Carkeek and manufactured by Cantiere del Pardo in Italy, a shipyard founded in 1973 known for building boats of very high quality, sharp sailing characteristics, and beautiful design. The positive qualities continue inside, with a well-thought-out layout and high-quality woodwork. Grand Soleil 43 has a spacious salon with a generous dining area and a galley to starboard. There is also a WC/shower and navigation table. Aft, there are two mirrored cabins with double berths and plenty of storage. The forepeak is dedicated to the owners with a large centered double berth and its own WC/shower, and of course, plenty of wardrobes and storage spaces here as well. In the cockpit, all winches, sheets, and trim lines are placed where they should be for fun and fast sailing. Here, you can enjoy cruising with 1-2 people or with a full crew in a regatta. When moored, there is plenty of space for many seated guests for a pleasant evening gathering. This 43-footer can be compared in terms of performance and sailing to much more expensive boats, such as the Arcona 430 or X-43. The boat has sailed in Galicia and Portugal in recent years. It has been on land for winter storage every year except for two. Maintenance and engine service have been carried out regularly year after year. The latest engine service was done in May 2024. The boat has never been used for charter sailing or rental. Only one owner from Sweden and few people on board, which is evident from the excellent condition of the interior. When I (Boat Agents broker) visited the boat in early May 2024 and took the pictures for this presentation, it was in Vigo, Galicia. In mid-May, it will be hauled out for "spring maintenance," bottom cleaning, inspection, bottom painting, etc. Once this is done, the boat will sail to Nazaré in Portugal. The boat will be delivered fully equipped and serviced in Nazaré, "ready to sail away," in June 2024. A first viewing is scheduled for June 14th in Nazaré, Portugal.
