Sailing boat for sale
Description
Classic polyester cabin sailing yacht. Well maintained and vacation ready. Sail characteristics: The ship has a relatively narrow hull with a great stability factor. This makes it a ship with excellent upwind characteristics and has a pleasant sea state. It has a normal keel with a detached rudder behind a skeg. Because of this it is well maneuverable. The ship has an excellent position on the rudder so that with correctly trimmed sails it steers as if by itself and it can handle a lot of wind because of the relatively low sail point. The gangways are easy to walk on and the cockpit is well protected by the far-reaching spray hood even in bad weather. The mast can easily be lowered by one person. This gives the ship a large sailing area. The cabin has a galley with stove and oven, running water and plenty of storage space. Opposite the galley is a dinette and behind it two dog cages with the spacious chart table. There is headroom at the entrance. Further forward is the forward cabin with two berths in a V and the toilet. The engine is built into the middle of the ship and thus contributes well to the overall stability picture. The Farymann diesel is a reliable engine that has never let down the current owner. All in all it is a fine ship to go on vacation with a family. The current owner has sailed the entire North Sea, Channel, Brittany and the Irish Sea with this ship. It has a preference for larger waters.
