Remarks : 1977 Moody 30 for sale in Kent.  The Moody 30, designed by Angus Primrose, offers spacious and comfortable accommodation given its size, featuring a straightforward yet highly functional layout. Its reputation for superb handling on the water and its solid build adds to its appeal. An early viewing is highly recommended. A 2018 survey report is available upon request. Accommodation : The Moody 30 offers six berths across two cabins. It boasts a generous headroom of approximately 6 feet, ensuring a spacious feel throughout.  In the forepeak, is a comfortable double berth, complete with an infill. An opening deck hatch overhead not only facilitates ventilation but also provides natural light. Located aft of the forepeak is the separate Heads compartment,  equipped with a marine toilet and a single wash basin with shower attachment with hot and cold water with storage underneath,   The saloon has an off-centre table to port with two folding leaves, with a U-shaped settee. The saloon table lowers to make into a double berth. The interior features predominantly wood-effect plastic laminate, with genuine teak trim throughout.  Manufactured by Marine Projects Ltd in Plymouth, this 1977 Moody 30 showcases a white GRP hull with a red hull strip, while the decks feature non-slip surfaces for safety. Sporting a steel fin keel and wheel steering controlled by a skeg rudder, it boasts a self-draining cockpit for added convenience.  Last  out of the water in July 2023, when this Moody 30 underwent essential maintenance, including antifouling, replacement of anodes, and hull polishing. The owner is only selling as he is retiring from sailing.
