Description

Kim Holman design Northney 34 completely repainted in 2015, including hull, deck, and coach roof. All woodwork coated annually and stored indoors during winter. Features new primary winches, self-tailing, and excellent sailing capabilities (participated in the transatlantic OSTAR race in 1972). Equipped with a Yanmar 3Y20, 21 HP engine from 2015, serviced yearly with new fuel filters, oil, filters, and impeller in winter 23/24. Electrical system replaced in 2015 with 3 new batteries. Sails include various head sails for Harken furling system (2015), new boom with trim options and 3 reefing systems, spinnaker pole, and new mast tracks. Navigation equipment includes a 2019 windmeter, 2017 Navman AIS Watcheye (GPS), Sailor ATIS VHF radio, autopilot, speed log, depth sounder, etc. The galley features a working cooker, stove with oven, and new gas tube and regulator in 2024. Comes with 2 anchors, 20 meters of chain, 2 swimming ladders, 1 pulpit ladder, 6 fenders, and more. Additional information: - Participated in the OSTAR singlehanded Transatlantic Race in 1972, achieving 4th place on handicap. - Won the silver medal at the 1967 boat show. - Participated in the Fastnet race twice. - Holds a Dutch heritage certificate as a classic yacht. - Regatta-ready and eligible for classic regatta entry in the Netherlands.
