Classic Danish Peter Bruun double-ender wants new owner. SAILING: Very stable, sturdy, easy to sail and low cockpit conveys safety in even in the worst conditions. Fast for her size (6.5-7.2kn close / beam reach). Broad reach with some waves approx. 8-10 knots. She gives many larger boats a run for their money. Very gentle water entry due to rounded bow, sails dry, carries a lot of canvas well, always a comfortable ride. Points extremely well, very stable and light on the rudder (good for single-handling). Powerful 27hp Yanmar engine / saildrive are appreciated in difficult conditions. She behaves / feels like a bigger boat. LIVING: Rare Cruiser Version feels roomier and more practical down below than other Grinde’s. Ample navigation area and pantry, 2 wide full length berths in the saloon, 1 wide berth at the bow (1.75cm long), 1 full length aft. Headroom 1.83cm in main area, lots of storage space in drawers, shelves, cupboards and cockpit locker. Approx. 150l fuel / 150l water, holding tank, anchor chain well and additional running backstays (optional use). OTHER: We only had her for a very short time, but started the upgrade (pls see below). She is in good shape and ready to go as is. She will be actively sailed this winter. During many miles summer and autumn 2020 she behaved flawlessly in all conditions. You surely would want to pick up where we left it and upgrade things bit by bit over time as her age is apparent.
