A feature of the 105 is a Dual steering position with interior wheel steering and a good sized cockpit. This yacht was designed to easily take the ground and could be suitable for a drying mooring. The Southerly 105 was one of the designs which started the now renowned range of lifting keel cruisers from Southerly, some of the features found in this capable cruiser have been carried on to later boats produced throughout the range.
