This Beneteau Oceanis 390 is a popular and well known model with classic Beneteau character and layout. The boat is located in the beautiful and centrally located Lagos marina on the Algarve coast of Portugal, with short walking distance to the city center, grocery stores and the train and bus station. A perfect boat in a perfect location for sailors, a couple or a family looking for a classic sailboat for live aboard, vacation sailing in the sun or as a starting point for longer sailing trips to the Mediterranean, Madeira or the Canary Islands. Overview of the boat: The Beneteau Oceanis 390 is a comfortable and spacious sailing yacht with plenty of light inside flowing down from the four tinted panoramic windows in the ceiling of the forward part of the saloon. This is a superbly constructed boat where you can enjoy the sea in all its splendor. This version of the Beneteau Oceanis 390 has three cabins, a large master cabin forward and two guest cabins with double beds aft. A bright and spacious saloon, navigation station, fully equipped kitchen and bathrooms with shower (one of the two toilets removed to give space for a storage room or separate shower). The cockpit offers plenty of space with two long benches, folding table and a steering position behind the steering wheel. All sails are handled from the cockpit and the boat can easily be sailed by one or two people. Accommodation - Master Cabin (Bow): Headroom 1.85 m. Double bed 2.30 x 1.80 m, wardrobe, storage cupboard, opening deck hatch and 2 fixed side windows. - Aft cabin - starboard: Headroom 1.88 m. History of the boat The boat has had several owners and has sailed in the Caribbean for a few years. She was then sailed back to Europe where the EU VAT was paid. The boat was upgraded and sold to the current owners in 2010 in Lagos. The current owners are Irish and have used the boat for holiday sailing and as a part-time resident in Lagos marina on the sunny Algarve coast of Portugal. The boat has been taken ashore every year for an annual service.
