Description

The Gib Sea 38 is a seaworthy, sturdy bluewater boat that stands out with its ketch rig and bright deck salon. We purchased it in 2022 in Aalborg, Denmark, to fulfill our dream of an extended voyage. After a thorough refit, we traveled with the ship from June 2023 to October 2024. During this journey, we continuously optimized and promptly conducted maintenance on the Gib Sea. In 15 months, we sailed approximately 13,000 nautical miles on the barefoot route with a crew of two to five people living comfortably aboard. Now that we have returned to Germany, we must part ways with her. We hope that she can set sail on grand adventures once again – she is well-suited for it.
