Hallberg Rassy 46 – 2004 – 100% ready for Blue Water Cruising. Swedish flagged and EU VAT PAID A very well maintained and upgraded Hallberg-Rassy 46 – the last HR46 that was build. Priced for a quick sale. Vessel has just been EU VAT paid. The Hallberg-Rassy 46 is one of the most popular models from the Swedish yard on Ellös, Sweden, perfect for comfortable sailing and living. Just under 15 meter she is considered the perfect size for both Blue Water Cruising and in the marinas. That HR 46 won the Yacht of The Year award in the biggest category in the respected German magazine Yacht when she was introduced, really made the design a classic. Timeless lines, Center Cockpit, a strong engine, an easy-to-handle rig, and three spacious cabins. She gives a little more of everything than her sister models, the popular HR-42, HR-43, and the HR-45 and at the same time offers a lot of all the extras needed for longer cruises. Key words such as sailing performance, timeless elegance, comfort, safety, fine joinery work and ease of handling are the correct words for this beauty. The top Quality of Hallberg-Rassy is proven in all Hallberg-Rassy models and also the safe investment being one of the most well-known quality brands in the industry. This 2004, Hallberg-Rassy 46 with only one owner, proved itself by Blue Water Cruising both across the Atlantic but also in European waters. Mayflower is now hauled out in Portimao, Portugal for normal and professional yearly maintenance and she is perfectly ready to set sails for a new owner. Mayflower has everything you need and a lot of extra. Electric Winches, Webasto Heating, Washing Machine, Freezer, Generator, Solar Panels, Watermaker, Two autopilots installed, Hydraulic Furlers for Main and Genoa and much more. All the navigation instruments and electronics you need, all the spareparts and tools need for cruising, 2,5hp 2-stroke outboard Engine, all safety equipment and others is included. CQR anchor with top graded 80 meters stainless steel chain make you sleep well and safe when on anchor, and when motoring the powerful 100HP, Volvo Penta engine with less that 3000 hours, regularly serviced and updated, get you there when not setting sails. This boat is 100% ready for new adventures, long-distance sailing around the world or sailing in closer waters. In the cockpit, everything is optimally placed so that the boat can be easily sailed by one or two people. You can safely sail her from the cockpit without having to go on deck. The high backrests in the center cockpit provide comfort and convenience, and under the large Sprayhood and Bimini, you are well protected from the elements. When you come down the stairs to the salon, you are immediately greeted by the enormous impression of quality that the well-known Swedish west coast boats express, with robust, beautiful, top-class mahogany interior mixed with top quality textiles, bright ceiling and beautiful well-maintained upholstery, and a large galley with all you need including the Force 4 3-burner stove with oven. The longitudinal windows and many skylights for direct view create a beautiful light and bright interior. The floor is classic teak and with plenty of storage spaces underneath. Classic mixed with the modern - and nothing has been spared! This model of the HR-46 has a forward guest head/toilet. One cabin on each side with two beds in each. The cabins are separated with a bulkhead. 2 hatches, openable windows, cupboards, lockers lights and electric outlets. Door between fore- and main cabin for guest privacy. Aft of the forward guest cabins/area is Mayflowers comfortable salon. To port, the L shaped settee surrounds a large drop leaf table with a spirits’ locker at the center. Across the salon, is the two comfortable “armchairs” that provide a comfortable lounging space. Ample storage is easily accessed behind the seatback cushions of the settees and under and between the armchairs. The U-shaped galley is aft and to starboard of the main salon. A 3-burner gas stove and oven is on the starboard side. Lots of lockers and cabinets for storage for dishes and pantry items as well as plenty of storage for food. Below the counter is the large top opening fridge with shelf and compartment light. The two-bin stainless-steel sink is located next to the fridge. Hot and cold pressure water and extra freshwater foot pump available as well as a direct tap from watermaker. To port is the large, forward facing navigation station. The wide chart table allows plenty of room to spread out charts and other navigation equipment or simply use for computers or other. All instruments, electronics and fuse panels are located here. Aft of the navigation station is a true walk-through passageway to the aft Master cabin passing both the huge, double sealed access doors to the Engine Room, multiple storage closets and the countertop with the large refrigerator/freezer. The passageway gets one to the aft stateroom/Owners Cabin, where accommodations are comfortable large double berth and a single berth to port side, with a sitting between, and of course designed with hanging lockers, shelves with locker and drawers etc. The roomy ensuite head with separate shower area is forward and to starboard. The boat only had one owner who bought her from Hallberg Rassy in Sweden 2004. During the years she was maintained and regularly updated. Nothing was spared in keeping the boat in top condition and still do. Mayflower sailed from Sweden 2005 to Gibraltar, then crossed to Brazil and to Uruguay 2006. From there to Capetown in South Africa2008. Sailed from there to Tobago and the Caribien and crossed back to Canary Islands 2010. 2012 they sailed to Panama, Cuba and USA. Back to the Canary Islands in 2017 where they stayed for some years. Mayflower just arrived in Portimao, Portugal and is hauled out and will stay for some months to be sold. There are really no signs of wear and tear a
