Check out: https://photos.app.goo.gl/HKnBxeNZQKLgSrcV6 Dimensions: 10.06 x 2.47 x 1.65m, approx. 3.35 tons, including 1.5 tons of ballast, approx. 45sqm sail area close-hauled. More details: https://sailboatdata.com/sailboat/international-1006/ This is one of the youngest OL33 = International 10.06 - built in 1984 by OL-Boats with craftsmanship pride. The interior is much brighter than sister ships due to the white cabin ceiling and cabinet doors, and in really good condition. No musty smells, mildew, or rot. The OL33 sails extremely gently, fast, and on a stable course - simply confidently. You feel completely safe with her soft movements in any wind and wave conditions. The backstays can be attached further forward depending on conditions, so they do not need to be adjusted while tacking. The flush deck leads to an immediate sailing sensation. You notice more around you instead of looking at the cabin bulkhead. Weather protection for cozy trips is provided by a removable mini-sprayhood and retrofittable lifeline dodgers. In the companionway or at the galley, you can stand and look forward over the deck at the same time - this has its own charm and is only possible with a flush decker. However, headroom below deck is more suitable for marmots. At 1.93m tall, I can sit comfortably anywhere in the salon. The design by Arne Borghegn (Nordship, Motiva...) is influenced by his mentor Poul Molich, who himself created famous classics with Sparkman & Stevens and German Frers. On a beat, especially in waves, the OL excels. She purrs to windward and doesn't get stuck even in rough seas, but gracefully sways over the waves. The Genoa I-II is good to sail in winds from 0-5 Bft, the jib from about 1 Bft. Both are suitable as all-round sails for the entire season. The screenshot documents the tight tacking angle. You can also make good progress on all courses just under jib. Suddenly, bad weather becomes fun that you would otherwise avoid. Downwind, thanks to its modern U-shaped hull, the OL33 does not tend to broach like, for example, the seemingly similar Aphrodite 101 with a trapezoidal hull. Overall, the OL has a more timeless hull shape and slightly more beam + freeboard. The interior is significantly more refined and spacious than that of the 101. This OL has been sailed very little over the years, never tampered with, and has received knowledgeable care from a single owner almost the entire time. It has not been sailed softly and is overall in really good condition with plenty of epoxy osmosis protection refreshed multiple times, last done in 2024. The high-quality UV-protected laminated Genoa I-II is from the Swedish sailmaker Boding, the mainsail with Lazy-Bag is from North and sets well (see photo), the jib made of very strong ProRadial Dacron with UV protection is from 2022. Optionally, there is also an all-round spinnaker (A2) from North with or without a snuffer or alternatively a spinnaker, currently without a pole. The Volvo MD2010 with 10HP and 2-circuit cooling is serviced annually and is the boat's second engine. There is a triangular berth in the bow, two more berths in the salon, which have a comfortable width when the backrests are folded up, and a similarly sized berth aft for a dog. There is a GPS and VHF. Depth/speed instruments would need to be replaced (a few hundred euros). The cockpit tent with frame and windows is almost new. A dismantlable storage cradle is available optionally if needed. Please do not expect a new boat. There are scratches, wear, and other imperfections. Also, one should never approach the purchase of a used boat with a "full coverage mentality" (buy cheap and expect everything as with a new boat). But this is definitely the most beautiful OL33 I have ever seen on many trips and following the market over the years. The boat can be viewed in Flensburg. For test sailing, I request a fee that will be deducted from the purchase.
