Description

Beautiful ship suitable for both inland and open waters; has made many trips to the Baltic Sea and France via the Channel, and is therefore very well equipped in terms of technology and navigation instruments. Below deck, a comfortable classic interior with a lot of attention to ornamental details; a spacious salon with a seating area and towards the front 2 cabins, a bathroom with shower, and extra bunks for the crew. Outside, a spacious cockpit with a steering wheel, wide decks, and lots of stainless steel fittings. Stylish and fast ship! Below is the description from the German owners: Lemsteraak Felicita Cabin version (Yacht version) Beautiful yacht version from Stofberg/Leimuiden NL, in the ideal size of 12 meters in length. A classic Lemsteraak with a warm and comfortable interior. The Felicita is a true family ship, very suitable for long and self-sufficient journeys. A fine sailor, with a steering wheel, plenty of storage space in cabinets, very large tanks for fuel and drinking water, and equipped with a bow thruster that significantly enhances driving comfort. The warm, cozy interior with a clever layout offers a pantry, a three-burner gas stove with oven, a refrigerator with 70 liters capacity, a hydrophore system with flowing hot and cold water, providing a lot of quality of life and comfort at sea. The Felicita has a classic layout with five fixed berths in the owner's cabin and in the bow, as well as two additional berths in the salon. The salon includes a beautiful navigation corner and is equipped with central heating. Particularly noteworthy are the separate toilet with washbasin and cabinets, and the completely separate shower cabin. A very well-thought-out solution not only for drying oilskins. The toilet and shower are connected to the central heating and the hydrophore system. The Felicita is ready for new sea voyages after rigging. However, to navigate European inland waterways with the mast lowered, the ship is equipped with special mobile mast supports at the bow and mast base, and a device carrier. The navigation lights and antennas are mounted on the mobile stainless steel device carrier. The passage height with the mast lowered is 2.95 m. The passage height with the device carrier is 3.95 m. The steel hull (Casco) was built in 1984 by the Stofberg shipyard, Leimuiden NL. After that, the ship was outfitted by the Jachtwerft de Waag, Warmond NL and delivered to the first owner L. D. Gronewegen van Wyk in May 1992. The sail wardrobe was completely renewed in 2020/2021 by Sail Molenaar, including the boom-persennings in the color reddish-brown. (see also TS under Rig and Sail). • A completely new mainsail with VB 316 as sail and measurement mark. Original packaged in a sail bag (including the old mainsail in a sail bag) • A jib that has been hoisted only a few times in a sail bag • A staysail with a new roller furling system in a sail bag • A spinnaker rarely used in a sail bag Following the 2019 sailing season, the Felicita underwent a Technical Refit. The engine room was completely renovated. All mechanical, electrical, and other systems were removed and largely disposed of. After that, the engine room was largely sandblasted. The corrosion protection was completely renewed with appropriate primers and paints. The Mercedes diesel engine with gearbox was overhauled by Drinkwaard and installed with a new exhaust system. Then the technical systems were completely renewed and installed. Including the fuel diesel pump with new connecting lines to the tanks with new shut-off valves, the Eberspächer heating system with lines, the consumer batteries. The control cabinets of the electrical system were installed and connected at the location of the removed power generator, including all connecting cables. Almost all technical systems were renewed. This also includes the renewal of all electric pumps. During the overhaul of the Mercedes Marine diesel, the usual wear parts such as: clutch, injection system, exhaust system, alternator, starter were renewed. The Technical Refit also included the renewal and installation of the entire electrical system with: Victron 3600W isolation transformer, Victron MultiPlus inverter 24/3,000, battery monitor BMV 702, consumer batteries 2 * 230Ah, the control panel in the navigation area, new VHF radio, complete heating system including water-air heat exchanger (Webasto Isotherm 10KW), new 220V stainless steel shore power connection, new control cabinets in the engine room. The renewal of the electrical system included the conversion of the onboard voltage to 24V. All these new systems were tested during a 7-month sea voyage from Workum to Oslo and back in 2019 without any malfunctions or defects. The Felicita is therefore in top condition and completely ready to sail. A complete ship documentation is available in A4 folders in paper form and in digital version on CD in German. It contains detailed descriptions and illustrations of the entire technical equipment including the renewals. There is a history of the construction of the hull and the interior with all essential information and construction details including a construction drawing. The Lemsterak Felicita meets the required safety standards of the Cruiser Department of the German Sailing Association, except for the sea railing. It is approved and equipped for sea voyages in coastal waters of all seas up to 30 nautical miles from the mainland coast, as well as the sea areas of the Baltic and North Sea, the Channel, the Bristol Channel, the Irish and Scottish Sea, the Mediterranean, and the Black Sea. In the years 2015 to 2019, the owners made sea voyages to European metropolises (Berlin, Stockholm, Gothenburg, Copenhagen, Hamburg, Rotterdam, Amster
