The Rode 367 is a highly sail-worthy classic cruising yacht with significant speed potential. Its lines evoke the great racing boats of the mid-80s, featuring a sharp bow, ample beam, and a tall rig that provide excellent and powerful sailing characteristics. The inspiration from Baltic and Swan is clearly visible in the elegant lines. Rode boats were designed by Kristian Rode, who built this gem for himself. The boat was constructed at the renowned Danish Broager Yacht Yard, where craftsmanship and boatbuilding artistry come together harmoniously. There is certainly the framework for the boat to participate in long-distance races, which would require a larger crew. This is evident in the layout below deck. Above deck, the working conditions are excellent for sail changes and sail handling, but it also features a cozy cockpit with an exceptionally well-crafted sprayhood and accompanying cockpit tent, all from UK Sails and less than three years old. All handling takes place from the cockpit, and from the gracefully curved aft coaming, one has a good overview of the boat; the large wheel offers great control and precise steering. Although the boat is designed with distance racing in mind, below deck it is exceptionally well-appointed, boasting a very functional salon layout. There is a practical galley on the port side with a gas stove, large refrigerator, and sink. There is also ample storage space for provisions. On the starboard side is a spacious chart table with plenty of room, and aft under the cockpit are two berths with ample space for gear. In the center of the salon is a large table that comfortably seats eight people, along with three additional berths in the salon. Moving forward into the bow area, there is a large head and an atmospheric forward cabin featuring a cozy double berth. Throughout, there are fine cabinets and stowage space, and generally, the woodwork is in excellent condition with many beautiful details. Light pours in beautifully everywhere, giving the boat a very bright and open feel. It also helps that much of the interior has been painted white to brighten everything up. In recent years, the boat has received numerous valuable updates to its electronics, and its cross sails are nearly new and in fantastic condition. In 2026, the engine was serviced with all fluids and filters replaced, along with an impeller and zinc; additionally, it received a fresh coat of bottom paint in spring. Check out the pictures and get inspired. The boat is currently moored in Helsingør and can be shown by appointment.
