Sailingboat for sale
Description
The Sveakryssaren is a Swedish long and narrow classic from the 1970s, mostly sold as a semi-finished product. This particular boat is one of 20 built at the Joemarin, Finland shipyard. Designed by Arvid Laurin, it features a long keel with a rudder directly attached to it, and the propeller shaft exits behind the rudder. The Sveakryssaren sails like a dream and is only used under motor when necessary, with the engine primarily serving as a light wind pusher. The boat gracefully cuts through the waves of the Baltic Sea. We have owned the boat since the summer of 2021, coming from Sweden with 2 previous owners. The hull has been completely renewed by the owner with 8 layers of epoxy applied (pictures available). All through-hull fittings (except for cooling water) have been replaced with TruDesign (composite). The custom-made rudder fitting is from NiRo Petersen. The cabin has been sanded down and repainted in a cream tone. A two-burner spirit stove has been installed, and the sea water toilet has been replaced with a chemical WC. A new sea water tap (Whale pump) has been installed in the galley. Navigation equipment: - New Silva compass - New Nasa Instruments Log (electromagnetic) - Nasa Instruments Echo sounder (not yet mounted but complete) Engine: Yanmar 1GM/6.5 HP. Two-circuit cooling system. Pull-out chart table. Running rigging mostly renewed. Backstay and aft stay fittings, blocks, and ropes have been replaced. The traveler has been renewed. Can be sailed without a backstay effortlessly, as they have a trimming function. 4 winches of older design are present and functional (non-self-tailing). Sails: Used sails in usable condition - Main with full battens. Two reefs - Jib - Genoa - Spinnaker (NO spinnaker pole) Sail cover included. Sprayhood. Lagun cockpit table. Textile ladder with bag on the stern pulpit. Bow ladder. 10 KG Bruce anchor with 8 meters of chain and 40 meters of rope in the anchor locker. No windlass available! Fenders. Mooring lines. Boat hook. Flagpole. Electrical system for the engine, navigation lights, and log available, starter battery renewed in 2024. The remaining electrical system has been dismantled. The boat is being sold due to a new purchase. The boat is currently in winter storage in Denmark on land until early April 2025. It will be launched thereafter and can be test sailed. The asking price is negotiable. Make an offer!
