But also a number of motorboats such as Albin 21, Albin 25 and Albin 30. Most designed by Rolf Magnusson and Peter Norlin. The company was founded by the Larsson family, who previously owned Albin Motor. Albin Motor manufactured engines, including inboard engines for recreational boats, and wanted boats to fit their engines in. Albin Marin went bankrupt in the early 1980s, after a change of ownership.

It is with a heavy heart that we are selling our Albin Ballad, Ballistics; we recently purchased a larger boat. The boat has sail number 88, hence our asking price of €8,800. She was built in 1971. We purchased her in 2004 and have sailed her with our family for many years.
She is moored in Augustenborg (DK) and, if not sold before then, will be transported to the Netherlands in the spring of 2026. A wonderful boat for the IJsselmeer, Zeeland, the Wadden Sea/North Sea, but also the Baltic Sea. We sailed her to Denmark in 2011 and have been sailing there ever since (Funen, Zealand, Bornholm, Gothenburg, etc.).
The boat is very practical (lots of storage space), sails great, is stable, and performs well in both light and strong winds. We have invested a lot in it over the past few years. It is truly a complete boat, ready to sail away.

We rebuilt the underwater hull ourselves in 2019. This was necessary because the mast support (now a stainless steel construction) under the mast foot was replaced (by a professional) that year. The underwater hull is coated with red self-polishing antifouling (International).
As you can see, we have added and replaced many new/useful things, but it is not a new boat; it shows signs of use. If, as the new owner, you would like to leave the boat in Augustenborg (a wonderfully quiet harbor and very accessible from the Netherlands), it may be possible to arrange a spot with the harbor master. The boat will be taken out of the water on August 25 for winter storage.
