A fast, modern performance cruiser and a reliable, seaworthy cruising yacht. An elegant hull in contemporary Italian design and a gem of traditional boat craftsmanship. This is the Solaris 55. Like all Solaris sailing yachts, this model is an extremely stiff unit. The 40 mm composite bulkhead, a solid structure of individually laminated frames and stringers, and composite chainplates are just a few of the technical features that make the Solaris 55 a monolithic construction. Sleek, efficient appendages, a powerful rig, and a modern, wedge-shaped hull with a slim bow, negative stem, and a wide stern with chines give it sporty sailing characteristics. A clever deck layout with ample space in the cockpit and unobstructed passage aft to the sun deck and the large fold-out bathing platform. Below deck, a flawless finish with plenty of solid wood in frames, trims, and profiles creates a warm, cozy atmosphere, while the tidy, spacious, and modern layout along with the exceptionally large hull windows provide light and openness. This Solaris 55 is an extensively equipped first-hand owner's vessel. Exceptionally sporty configuration with a carbon fiber rig from HALL-Spars, exclusive sail wardrobe from DOYLE/Raudaschl, and high-quality deck hardware from HARKEN. 3-cabin version with teak interior, side bed in the owner's cabin, and single berths in the starboard aft cabin. Complete technical specifications including retractable bow and stern thrusters, diesel generator, inverter, lithium battery bank, air conditioning, watermaker, large solar panels on the coachroof, washing machine, and comprehensive B&G navigation including H5000 processor, jumbos on the mast, three plotters, radar, AIS, satellite communication, etc. In addition to the regular options, numerous modifications have been implemented by the shipyard to facilitate handling for a small crew. The Solaris 55 is continuously maintained and serviced by a professional skipper.
