Description

The Jeanneau Gin Fizz is a proven and beloved design among sailing enthusiasts who value reliability, space, and seaworthiness. This French sailboat, designed by Michel Joubert, is known for its robust construction and excellent sailing characteristics. It is therefore ideal for long sailing trips and comfortable living on board. All lines can be operated from the spacious cockpit, making sailing easy and safe. The mainsail and genoa have been recently replaced by the current owner, who has owned the boat since 2016. The navigation equipment is also up-to-date and clearly visible from the helm. The cockpit can be fully covered with the cockpit tent, which is easy to remove for sailing. The deck equipment, including winches, traveler, and anchor, is of good quality. In 2007, the yacht was thoroughly renovated by the previous owner. This included repainting the hull and renovating the interior. In 2008, a refurbished Perkins diesel engine was installed. That same year, the hull was treated for osmosis. In July 2024, a new layer of antifouling was applied to the hull. The interior has been completely renovated by the previous owner, combining the salon and the forward cabin into one spacious living area. Thanks to the deck hatches and side windows, there is plenty of natural light. In the bow, there is a spacious and comfortable double bed. The fixed table with seating also serves as a navigation area. The settee can be used as a sea berth if needed. The galley is fully equipped with a stove, sink, fridge, microwave, and extractor hood. The wet room has a sink and a hand pump toilet. There is also a holding tank. For added comfort, there is both a Dickinson diesel heater and a hot air heating system. A separate aft cabin with its own access is located behind the cockpit. The current owner has installed a new bed base here for a single sea berth. The helm station is within easy reach from the aft cabin. The cushions still need to be installed in this aft cabin, and the walls need to be reupholstered. The material for the wall covering is already available.
