Sailingboat for sale
Description
After intensive study of the boat market, I decided on the aluminium Reinke 14M*. Built strictly according to the plans for his own use, made of the best materials (exclusively aluminium alloy 5086 and stainless steel down to the last screw), 6 t lead keel, well thought out and safe (wall thicknesses etc., everything generously dimensioned, 3 watertight bulkheads, etc.), entire interior only made of solid, screwed teak (no veneer laminates or gluing), Mercedes ( Unimog ) engine 80 hp, Hurth gearbox, hydraulic control with manual emergency tiller, 24 V general (also with 12 V), 230 V input shore power with 230 V output isolating transformer, Inox hot water radiators with Eberspächer diesel heater (unused), approx. 800 l diesel + day tank, 900 l water, good heat/cold insulation, 20 l hot water boiler (by 230 V or engine), 2000 W anchor winch, solar and wind power etc. The electronics are not worth mentioning, would be easy to upgrade (financed by me). The ship is registered in the ship register with ”Schiffzertifikat” (very rare and valuable, the owner can a.o. become a member of the professional Seamen Union with all financial, social and other benefits, e.g. support from the federal government in case of problems abroad, similar to merchant ships). The ship was only sailed from Germany to Greece after it was built, the builder, an experienced sailor, was 70 years old when he arrived here, instead of continuing to sail he settled down here and sold it to me. My first action was to dry-dock the boat in the local shipyard ... and then to settle here, too. The ship has been at the same shipyard ever since. I'm now approaching 80, have a small motorboat and have plenty of other things to do, which is why I sell it. Travelling from Athens airport is easy (costs 15 €), any work could be done here easily and cheaply. Arctic, Caribbean or ‘just’ Mediterranean, the boat can do it all, comfortably and safely. Decades later, ships were still being built according to the same plans. In the photo, the ship is blue; as it is about to be painted, you could determine the new colour. The radar on the pic no longer exists, replaced by an inox bridge with big solar panel and 700 W Wind turbine. It flies the German flag and the mooring fees/conditions here are very favourable.
