This Bruce Roberts Offshore 44 was built and launched in 2000, with the best materials, systems, and quality ONLY available in Sweden. This particular Roberts design is famous for her sea-kind motion, providing a smooth ride even in the steepest waves. Mild steel plating: 6mm keel, 4mm chines, and 3mm deck, with 700mm sparsely spaced transversal frames. The interior and exterior were done right, with all surfaces sandblasted and sprayed with quality International Epoxy-Tar. The interior is completely insulated above the waterline with 30mm of high-quality, fire-proof sprayed foam. The Swan Nautor 20m rig, featuring hydraulic in-mast furling and rod rigging, demonstrates the quality and attention to reliability of the design. Sail wardrobe consists of: - mainsail: 50m2 Vertec fabric by Lundsails with vertical battens - roller-furl genoa: 50m2 (120%) dacron by Lundsails - NEW and UNUSED roller-furl genoa: 50m2 (120%) dacron by Ocean - cruising nylon gennaker with sock The in-mast mainsail is operated hydraulically from the cockpit, while the genoa is managed through a Furlex 300 system. A fresh-water cooled 64Hp Mercedes OM615 Diesel powers a 3:1 Hurtz gearbox onto a shafted 3-bladed bronze propeller, achieving a maximum speed of 7 knots at 2500 rpms. Quarters consist of two cabins, with the master cabin located aft of the cockpit featuring a large bunk (1600x2000mm) and a v-berth in the forward cabin. The head is equipped with an electric Jabsco Toilet. A hot-water shower and bathtub have been installed but are not connected.
